He is deeply interested in entrepreneurial ideas that can change the way people consume and live, while also hoping that technological advancements and innovative patterns can revolutionarily improve the efficiency of workers in various industries. Before joining DCM, Irvin interned at investment institutions such as CPE and ZhenFund, participating in the sourcing, research and execution of early-stage and growth-stage deals in the consumer and technology sectors. Prior to that, Irvin also had internship and project experience at industrial companies such as L'Oréal and ByteDance, engaging in digital marketing, strategic analysis and user research, among other tasks. These experiences provided Irvin with different perspectives on corporate development, deepening his understanding on strategic choices and business execution.
Irvin is passionate about movie directing. He has completed a 30-minute short film about the challenges facing traditional Chinese families as China underwent rapid urbanization in the past few decades. Additionally, he enjoys recharging himself by trying new things, including exploring unaltered nature, immersing himself in different music genres, attending live performances, etc.
