Bobby is passionate about supporting founders through the use of data science to surface business insights, visualize trends and structure narratives. At DCM, Bobby focuses on early-stage investments in enterprise software (vertical and horizontal SaaS), infrastructure and marketplaces.

Prior to joining DCM, Bobby worked on the investment team at Tribe Capital, a data science-driven VC firm. At Tribe, he helped lead Series B+ investments in Apollo.io, JupiterOne, LinearB, Orum and QuotaPath. He also worked closely with portfolio companies like Carta, Docker, Silo and Zeroheight on strategic initiatives. Prior to Tribe, Bobby worked on analytics at Onaroll, a vertical SaaS startup focused on gamifying shift work experiences.

Bobby was born in South Korea and spent his childhood in Iowa, South Carolina and Massachusetts. Outside of work, Bobby nerds out on epistemology, geography and business history. He spends his free time digging into books/podcasts, exploring new cities and playing strategy games.
